The tags there are lockouts to prevent helpful souls from energizing some decommissioned things that shouldn't be energized while decommissioned.


Gen start
My universal preference for the first start of any day was to drop into the eng. room and start from there where I could put my eyes on lots of things that were useful to see before start.

that I added (and ultimately found hella useful) one night in figuring out what was going on with my fresh-water pump failing.
I also incorporated a shutoff for the ice maker which greatly simplifies decommissioning. All this is under the nav station seat.

This was supposed to be my daughter's cabin but she was not even slightly a fan of being on a boat. Entertained the idea of converting this space into a small machine shop and tool room. Might have alleviated my aggravation of having to drive home every time I needed an uncommon tool or to make a part.
